Once you've connected your WooCommerce store to your Loopz gift card program, customers will be able to redeem gift card on your cart and checkout pages.

A new section to apply a gift card to an order is automatically added to your cart and checkout pages.

A gift card's code can be entered in this section and when "Apply" is clicked, the gift card's available balance is applied to the order. If the gift card's balance does not cover the order total, the customer will need to pay for the remaining order total.

Once the order is placed, the gift card's balance is redeemed.

Gift card redemption settings can be changed on the settings page of the Loopz Gift Cards Plugin on your WordPress site's admin area at WooCommerce > Loopz Gift Cards.

  • Gift card redemption : By default gift card redemption is enabled on your store, but you can disable it by toggling this switch.

  • Apply to Shipping : Allow an applied gift card's balance to cover any shipping cost of an order.

  • Apply to Taxes : Allow an applied gift card's balance to cover any tax cost of an order.

  • Redeem for Gift Card Orders : Allow a gift card to be redeemed when a another gift card is being purchased. This setting is disabled by default and we recommend not enabling it.
